What is Therapy?
The therapeutic relationship provides you with an
opportunity to understand how your past events have
affected the choices you might currently be making in
your life. Therapy provides you with the chance to
heal from these events such that you can live the
life you have always imagined for yourself.
How long do I need to be in Therapy?
Generally speaking meeting once a week is what's proven to be most helpful. However, other people like to meet more than that. It really varies according to your needs. Therapy can either be short-term focused or for others
long - term assistance is what's helpful. Together with your therapist you can find a schedule that works for you both.

Is Therapy Confidential?
In general, information shared in session is confidential and may not be revealed to anyone. There are however some
instances whereby the therapist is legally required to
disclose information from session. These are:
- When there is reasonable suspicion of child abuse or
elder or dependent adult abuse.
- Where the client threatens violence to an identifiable
victim.
- When the client presents a danger of violence to
others or is likely to harm him or herself unless
protective measures are taken.
