Born in Africa, I was exposed to a variety of cultures and lifestyles and I bring to the therapeutic relationship a sensitivity to diversity and acculturation. I have a keen interest in how societal, cultural and gender expectations influence people and how these pressures to conform affect self-esteem and overall mental health.

I earned my bachelor's degree from California State University Northridge and a master's degree from Phillips Graduate Institute and I am currently pursuing  certification as a sex addiction therapist (CSAT).

I utilize the Trauma Resiliency Model to treat the
symptoms of trauma on the body and when working with
partners of sex addicts to help alleviate the initial s
stages of shock associated with discovery and the
disclosure process and to help facilitate healing.
