 Clinical Partner Specialist(CCPS).

I treat partners/spouses whose lives have
been impacted by sexual addiction and
intimate betrayal. I facilitate two weekly
groups that focus on trauma, shame,
 trigger-management, as well as
 relaxation techniques amongst other
topics to help partners heal in a
 supportive and nurturing environment.

I utilize mindfulness practice and am
trained in the trauma resiliency model
(TRM)as well as EMDR to alleviate the
effects of trauma on the body and to help
 restore it to balance.

My clinical experience also includes work
 with disordered eating, depression,
 anxiety disorders and substance

I have been in private practice since
2005 having trained at the Gay and Lesbian  Center as well as TEENLINE at Cedar Sinai
 Hospital in Los Angeles.

Born in Africa, I was exposed to a variety
of cultures and lifestyles and I bring to
 the therapeutic relationship a sensitivity
to diversity and acculturation. I have a
keen interest in how societal, cultural and
 gender expectations influence people and
how these pressures to conform affect
 self-esteem and overall mental health.
